It gives me great pleasure as Chief of Air Transport Operations for WFP UNHAS Mozambique to thank you and your staff in Beira for the assistance given to UNHAS during the recent Mozambique SO 10591.0.

Throughout our stay, nothing was too much in the way your staff provided support to us. This was by way of striving for excellence in the professional support rendered. The information and assistance provided to both UNHAS and the visiting AS Air Force, as part of the Joint Air Support Operation to the INGC in the recent flood relief action, was much appreciated.

A special word of thanks to Andre, your Aircraft Engineer, and Paula, your Ops Manager. They were instrumental and worked directly with us in solving issues. We, as visitors, would have had a major problem in resolving them, had they not been so professional in their approach to assisting us.

Having had to call on your hangar on numerous occasions, I was very impressed with your operation in Beira. Having been in aviation for the past 38 years, it was easy to recognise a professional and well run operation. Good luck in your endeavours and the successful accomplishment of Air Serv’s all important mission in Mozambique!
